She graduated as a nurse in 2001, working initially in intensive care before moving to work in oncology in 2010. Veerle supports and guides patients within the tumour cluster uro-oncology care process; from diagnosis, during treatment, follow-up phase and at relapse.\u00a0 As an oncology nurse she has detailed knowledge and experience of urology, oncology and palliative care.
