Prof. Alison Dougall"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dr Alison Dougall is the\u00a0Dental\u00a0Consultant in Medically Complex Patients at Dublin Dental Hospital and Director of the Doctorate Programme in Special Care Dentistry at Trinity College Dublin. She educates dentists at undergraduate postgraduate and specialist level\u00a0has led oral health\u00a0services for\u00a0people with a wide range of rare\u00a0bleeding disorders\u00a0at the National Coagulation Centre in Dublin for 15 years and has published a significant number of peer\u00a0reviewed research papers in this area. She is the former chair of the dental committee of the World\u00a0Federation of\u00a0Haemophilia\u00a0and is on the Medical Advisory Board of the\u00a0European Haemophilia Consortium. She is currently the President of the International Society for Disability\u00a0and Oral Health\u00a0in 2017 she was voted the HMI Health Leader of Ireland for her work developing integrated\u00a0oral health care pathways for people with inherited\u00a0bleeding disorders.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":{"id":1,"first_name":"Francisco","nickname":"Superadmin","email":"jose.santos@cor2ed.com"},"featured_media":214,"menu_order":216,"template":"","groups":[103],"class_list":["post-215","experts","type-experts","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","groups-von-willebrand-disease"],"expert_info_prefix":"Assoc.
