He is currently Vice Chair for Faculty Affairs and Development in the department of anesthesiology at University of Virginia Health. He is an active clinical researcher with an interest in hemostasis, viscoelastic coagulation testing, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, and acquired Von Willebrand Syndrome in patients on mechanical circulatory support.
